

The City of Peterborough Concert Band are a lively and dynamic group of local musicians who perform regularly in the Peterborough area. The band was formed in the late 1980s following the merger of the Nassington Brass Band and the 'Bretton Blowers' woodwind group. The band is now made of up people of all ages and from all walks of life.
The band plays at a wide range of events and engagements, including RAF mess dinners, bandstand performances in Oakham, Ely, Huntingdon, March and others, Christmas Carols and services in local churches, and regularly at the East of England Show.
The band have also enjoyed three European tours since 1999, drawing crowds in Germany, Belgium and most recently performing in a variety of settings around Reims, France.
